Our Mission
At EVS Good Day Books, we believe in the power of community, everyone deserves access to literature and we aim to make books accessible to everyone. Instead of throwing them away or letting them take up space, we will gladly take them off of your hands and give the books new life. We regularly donate books to get them back into the hands of readers, our vision is to create a world where digital books take a back seat to physical books, fueling creativity, inspiration and lifelong learning.
We would love the opportunity to connect and work with donation centers or anyone in the literature space. We would also love to be apart of any events to be able to give back to the community. Please contact us, we would love to hear from you!
What Do We Pick Up, What Do We Not Pick up?
We accept any genre, including fiction, non-fiction, biography, comic books, textbooks and children's books. Our only caveat is that the books have under 50% highlighting or underlining and that they are still in good condition. If you are unsure please do not hesitate to reach out. Please keep in mind that we are not a non-profit so we can not provide any tax write-offs.
We do not accept, magazines, books that are moldy or damp, have torn pages, missing pages, broken spines, excessive highlighting or writing, books infested with insects, water damaged books, books that have been in homes with excessive smoking.
How to Schedule?
We service the greater Las Vegas area, Summerlin, Centennial Hills and Henderson. Pick up outside of these areas is possible, just contact us with the location and we will do our best to accommodate you. To schedule a pick up please fill out the form below. Include your location, date and time of desired pick up, book amount, and contact information.
The book minimum for pick up is 10 books. There is no book maximum, however if you have over 200 books please let us know so we can send one of our box truck drivers.
We do ask that you leave the books outside and clearly labeled and we will pick them up wether you are home or not. Our pick up volunteers do not enter homes for safety reasons. If you need to reschedule please contact us as soon as possible.
